Driver Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Driver Engineer to join our Taipei City team and develop high-quality device drivers for Moxa’s networking and connectivity solutions. In this full-time, on-site position you will work closely with hardware, firmware and QA teams to ensure seamless integration of drivers with operating systems and hardware platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze hardware specifications and design driver architecture for PCIe, USB, Ethernet, and serial interfaces.
• Write, debug, and maintain driver code in C/C++ for major operating systems.
• Perform compatibility, performance, and security testing of drivers.
• Troubleshoot low-level software and hardware integration issues using debugging and profiling tools.
• Document technical designs and support product integration in customer environments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, build automation and version-control workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong system-level programming skills in C/C++.
• Solid understanding of computer architecture, OS internals and hardware interfaces.
• Ability to read and interpret hardware specifications and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Clear written and verbal communication in English and the local language.
