Director Market Access

About the role

The Head of Market Access in Taiwan will lead the development and execution of pricing, reimbursement and patient‑affordability strategies for Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine therapies. Reporting to the Managing Director, Taiwan, this senior leader will shape access solutions that ensure timely patient access while supporting business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the creation and implementation of pricing and reimbursement strategies for new and existing products, including value dossiers, economic models and budget impact analyses.
• Oversee health‑economics, outcomes research and real‑world evidence activities that support value demonstration and launch readiness.
• Develop and manage patient‑affordability programs, self‑pay solutions and support initiatives that are compliant and sustainable.
• Monitor healthcare policy changes, engage with payers and industry associations, and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Build and coach a high‑performing Market Access team, fostering capability in pricing, evidence generation and stakeholder engagement.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in pharmacy, life sciences, public health, economics, health economics, business or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry with strong expertise in pricing, reimbursement and market access.
• Deep understanding of Taiwan’s NHI and reimbursement systems.
• Proven cross‑functional leadership and people‑management experience.
• Fluent in English and Chinese with excellent analytical and communication skills.
