Data Analytics Manager – Risk, Fraud & KYC

About the role

Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, is seeking a Data Analytics Manager to lead its risk, fraud and KYC analytics function. The role combines quantitative analysis, model development and strategic partnership to protect the platform and enhance compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Research and analyze risk patterns across Binance platforms, using data‑driven methods to identify, measure and mitigate fraud, account takeover, payment fraud and related threats.
• Deploy, monitor and continuously improve rules, variables and models, ensuring stability and effectiveness of the risk matrix.
• Collaborate with compliance leaders and senior management to define success metrics, performance frameworks and decision‑making criteria.
• Lead and develop the Compliance Data Analytics team, fostering a high‑performance culture and aligning analytics with business objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in mathematics, statistics, computer science or a related field.
• 6–8 years of data analysis, data mining or risk analysis experience, preferably in financial derivatives, futures, leveraged trading or e‑commerce platforms.
• Strong problem‑solving ability, analytical mindset and effective communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficient in SQL.
• Experience with Python or R for data analysis.
