Customer Service Representative

About the role

The Customer Service Representative will deliver an optimal experience to Mouser’s customers worldwide. You will handle a wide range of inquiries—from orders and quotes to product information—ensuring timely and accurate responses that reflect Mouser’s values.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer requests including orders, special handling, quotes, returns, catalogs, samples and product information.
• Provide price and delivery quotations within defined deadlines and manage multiple currencies for international orders.
• Monitor delivery dates and product quality to meet customer requirements.
• Generate new and repeat business through proactive service initiatives and promotional offers.
• Follow up with customers to ensure ongoing satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.
• Support local Customer Service teams and provide chat assistance in required languages.
• Maintain high standards of quality, productivity and confidentiality.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a proactive approach to customer service.
• Effective communication skills in the local language and fluent English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under deadline pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook and internet browsers.
• Experience using dual‑screen terminals and telephone headsets.
• Ability to read, interpret and work with spreadsheets and printed reports.
• Professional verbal and written communication in the local language and English.
