Credit Analyst – Asia Credit Research (Taipei)

About the role

This position joins a global credit research team within a leading asset management firm. Based in Taipei, you will work closely with portfolio managers, traders and analysts across the United States, Europe and Asia to deliver high‑quality credit analysis for the Asia‑Pacific region.

Key responsibilities

• Support senior research analysts in fundamental corporate credit research on financial institutions and corporates across multiple sectors.
• Produce and maintain financial models, industry trend analyses and credit review presentations for the investment team.
• Communicate credit views to portfolio managers and other investment professionals.
• Engage with management teams, industry experts and sell‑side firms to gather insights.
• Leverage quantitative and AI‑enabled research tools to improve efficiency and enhance credit assessments.

Required profile

• Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity and passion for investing.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
• 1‑2 years of fundamental research experience (buy‑side, sell‑side or rating agency) or a solid corporate finance background.
• Solid understanding of fixed‑income markets is a plus.
• Possess a Taiwan license for SITCA registration.

Required skills

• Financial modelling and valuation.
• Proficiency in Excel and Bloomberg.
• Familiarity with AI‑enabled research tools (large language models, automated document analysis, data‑summarisation tools).
• CFA designation or progress toward it.
