Consultant – Valuation & Modeling – Consulting Businesses

About the role

Join the Valuation & Modeling team to develop advanced business models and valuations for a variety of purposes, including M&A transactions, debt financing, restructuring, and strategic planning. You will work with major Taiwanese and multinational companies, taking an active part in the full lifecycle of valuation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial reporting valuations for business combinations, covering enterprise values, intangible assets, legal entities, real estate, and personal property.
• Conduct goodwill and asset impairment testing for financial reporting.
• Perform tax valuations for local, international, and personal tax purposes, supporting tax equity financings.
• Provide consultative services for business plan development, strategic investment decisions, and other financial objectives.
• Value derivative securities, debt instruments, and employee stock option plans.
• Execute valuations for regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Assist teams on valuation work for M&A, debt financing, and restructuring projects.
• Deliver comprehensive project‑based analysis aligned with client and transaction needs.
• Contribute to business development and sales processes.
• Participate in additional activities necessary to complete projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in financial due diligence, audit, or related fields.
• Strong academic background in finance, accounting, or a related business discipline.
• Comprehensive accounting knowledge, including familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Interest in M&A environments (preferred but not mandatory).
• Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or FRM are advantageous.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
