Consultant – Valuation & Modeling – Consulting Businesses

About the role

The Valuation & Modeling Consultant will develop advanced business models and valuations for a variety of purposes, including M&A transactions, debt financing, restructuring, and strategic planning. You will work with major Taiwanese and multinational companies, participating actively throughout each project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial reporting valuations for business combinations, allocating purchase price to assets, liabilities, and intangible assets.
• Conduct goodwill and asset impairment testing for financial reporting and tax purposes.
• Provide consultative services for business plan development, strategic investment decisions, and other financial objectives.
• Value derivative securities, debt instruments, and employee stock option plans.
• Support regulatory and compliance valuation requirements.
• Assist in valuation work for M&A, debt financing, and restructuring engagements, delivering comprehensive project analyses.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in financial due diligence, audit, or related fields.
• Strong academic background in finance, accounting, or a related business discipline.
• Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese; professional certifications (CFA, CPA, FRM) are a plus.
