Construction Manager (Mechanical & Piping)

About the role

The Construction Manager (Mechanical & Piping) leads the planning, coordination and execution of all mechanical and piping works for semiconductor, data‑center, pharmaceutical and other high‑tech facilities in Taiwan. The role ensures safe, high‑quality installations are delivered on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage on‑site mechanical and piping installation activities, develop and monitor construction schedules, manpower plans and progress.
• Coordinate daily site operations among clients, subcontractors, vendors and internal project teams.
• Review piping layouts, isometrics and construction drawings, work closely with engineering and BIM teams, and resolve installation issues.
• Ensure compliance with Exyte HSE standards and local regulations, conduct safety inspections and monitor subcontractor safety performance.
• Oversee quality inspections, testing and support system start‑up and commissioning.
• Control project costs by monitoring budget, productivity and subcontractor claims, and mitigate risks that could impact schedule or cost.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• 10+ years of mechanical & piping construction experience, including 5+ years in a supervisory or management role.
• Proven experience on semiconductor fab, data‑center, pharmaceutical or high‑tech manufacturing projects.
• Fluent Mandarin and conversational English.
• Willingness to be assigned to any city in Taiwan.
