Commercial Controller – O+O Finance Business Partner

About the role
We are looking for a strategic and agile Commercial / O+O (Online + Offline) Controller to act as a key financial business partner to our commercial and omnichannel sales teams in Taiwan. The role drives financial performance, optimizes omnichannel profitability, and ensures rigorous control over trade investments, pricing and promotional spending across digital platforms and brick‑and‑mortar retail networks.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with commercial, e‑commerce and retail teams to evaluate channel performance, growth drivers and profitability across online and offline channels.
- Analyze channel mix, customer P&Ls and ROI for digital marketing, platform commissions and traditional trade investments.
- Provide financial guidance on pricing strategies, channel mix and commercial conditions to maximize profitability.
- Support strategic negotiations with key retail and e‑commerce partners through financial modelling and margin simulations.
- Monitor monthly closing, net sales, gross‑to‑net dynamics and commercial expenses against targets.
- Deliver variance analyses and actionable recommendations to optimise top‑line growth and customer contribution profitability.
- Lead budgeting, rolling forecasts and strategic planning for commercial and O+O channels.
- Manage trade spending, cooperative advertising budgets and point‑of‑sale investments while ensuring alignment with corporate financial guardrails.
- Ensure compliance with internal control policies, local statutory regulations and group financial standards.
- Drive continuous improvement by digitalising financial reports, automating data analysis and enhancing O+O dashboard reporting.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration.
- 6‑10 years of financial controlling or commercial finance experience in FMCG, retail, e‑commerce, beauty or a similarly fast‑paced industry.
- Professional fluency in both spoken and written English and Mandarin.
Required skills
- Advanced data manipulation and financial modelling (SAP, advanced Excel).
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools.
- Deep expertise in P&L management and forecasting.
- Strong business acumen and stakeholder management.
