Chief of Staff - AI Neobank Expansion

About the role

BJAK, the leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia, is looking for a Chief of Staff to help drive its AI Neobank expansion across products, markets and teams. This is a senior execution role for someone who can align leadership, drive operating cadence, solve cross-functional problems and turn strategy into measurable progress. The role is based in Taiwan and is hybrid, with at least three days per week in the Taiwan office; English is the main working language.

Key responsibilities

• Drive strategic execution across AI Neobank priorities.
• Build and manage the operating rhythm, including OKRs, leadership updates, decision tracking and accountability.
• Coordinate major workstreams across product, engineering, licensing, market expansion, partnerships, finance and operations.
• Prepare decision memos, board and leadership materials, execution plans and performance reviews.
• Identify gaps, risks and dependencies early and help leadership make sharper trade-offs on people, capital, product and market priorities.
• Own special projects that need senior judgement and cross-functional authority.

Required profile

• Strong operator with experience driving strategic execution across teams.
• Excellent judgement, communication, prioritization and follow-through.
• Able to work with founders, CEOs, leadership teams and senior external stakeholders.
• Comfortable in ambiguity with limited guidance, able to move from high-level strategy to detailed execution.
• Experience in startups, consulting, strategy, operations, fintech, financial services or regional expansion is a strong advantage.
• Not suitable for those seeking a purely advisory role or who avoid operational details.
