Business Development Manager - Maritime & Logistics

About the role

Our client, an international maritime and logistics services provider operating across the energy, offshore and infrastructure sectors, is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand its market presence in Taiwan. The role focuses on identifying new opportunities, managing key customer relationships and driving growth for the company’s maritime and logistics services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across Taiwan.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers, stakeholders and business partners.
• Manage existing accounts and identify cross‑selling and up‑selling opportunities.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline from prospecting to contract award.
• Lead and support tenders, proposals and commercial negotiations.
• Collaborate with operations, finance and regional teams to develop and deliver business opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, projects and competitors and provide relevant market intelligence.
• Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events and conferences.
• Develop opportunities connecting Taiwan‑based customers with international projects.
• Prepare sales presentations, proposals and commercial materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Maritime Studies or a related discipline (preferred).
• Proven experience in Business Development, Sales or Account Management.
• Experience in maritime, offshore, offshore wind, energy, oil & gas, infrastructure or logistics (highly preferred).
• Strong commercial awareness and relationship‑building skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Strong planning and organisational capabilities, with the ability to work independently.
• Comfortable working in a multicultural and international environment.
• Fluent in Chinese and English.
