Automation Test Engineer – Android (Taipei)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, curious, and hands‑on Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to support Android automation initiatives for Peloton digital products. The role focuses on building, maintaining, and scaling automated test solutions while collaborating closely with software engineers, product managers, and QA stakeholders to improve product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, debug and maintain automated test frameworks for Android applications.
• Write and execute test scripts using Kotlin, Java, Espresso or similar Android automation tools.
• Identify automation gaps, create test scenarios and improve coverage across the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into CI pipelines.
• Maintain clean, readable, and maintainable code following object‑oriented best practices.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in SDET, test automation, or software testing roles with a strong automation focus.
• Proven ability to solve coding challenges independently and explain implementation approaches.
• Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming concepts and clean code practices.
• Experience working with engineers to define automation scenarios and improve test coverage.
• Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
