Assistant Finance Manager – Inventory & Cost Accounting

About the role

CASETiFY is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to support inventory management across retail stores and warehouses, as well as global import procedures. Based in Taiwan, you will work closely with the Finance Manager and the Global Finance Team to ensure accurate month‑end closing, billing, and invoice booking for the Taiwan entity.

Key responsibilities

• Review monthly inventory reports for accuracy, completeness, and reconciliation of quantity and unit price across all locations.
• Plan and execute periodic physical inventory counts, establishing standardized SOPs.
• Analyze inventory variances, improve turnover, and integrate billing, receiving, and shipping reconciliations into the ERP system.
• Reconcile purchase invoices with import declarations and perform COGS calculations and gross‑margin analysis.
• Prepare management reports to aid strategic decision‑making and support overseas branches in inventory control and cost analysis.
• Assist in daily accounting entry reviews for Taiwan operations, ensuring GAAP and local tax compliance.
• Coordinate year‑end audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.
• Provide ad‑hoc project support as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years focused on inventory management and cost accounting.
• Experience in e‑commerce, retail, or global accounting environments is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, local tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with global and cross‑functional teams.
