Assembly Equipment Engineer – Chip Sorter

About the role

Own and support Chip Sorter equipment to achieve production, quality, and reliability targets.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment issues and lead root cause analysis to minimize downtime.
• Develop and optimize preventive maintenance programs.
• Drive productivity, OEE, UPH, and cost improvement initiatives.
• Support new equipment installation, qualification, and production release.
• Lead automation and digitalization projects to enhance operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, or related Engineering disciplines.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, equipment engineering, or assembly operations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities in a cross‑functional environment.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and willing to learn new technologies.

Required skills

• Knowledge of automation systems, machine vision, and robotics.
• Familiarity with SPC, FMEA, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Understanding of semiconductor equipment and assembly processes.
