APAC Senior/Assistant General Counsel – Construction & Infrastructure

About the role

Micron Technology seeks a strategic legal partner to support large‑scale capital projects across the Asia Pacific region, focusing on complex industrial and manufacturing facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end legal support for major capital projects across APAC, from early development through contracting, execution, claims and closeout.
• Draft and negotiate complex agreements such as EPC/EPCM, design‑build, construction management, procurement and supply contracts.
• Advise on project risks, delay exposure, change orders, performance security, defects, warranty and dispute avoidance/resolution.
• Partner with procurement, engineering and project teams to structure tenders, manage risk and develop contracting templates and playbooks.
• Support regional project development matters including land, permitting and regulatory coordination with local counsel.
• Manage external counsel across APAC to ensure pragmatic, high‑quality advice aligned with business objectives.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with 8+ years of experience in construction, infrastructure or major capital projects, preferably EPC/EPCM.
• Proven track record advising on complex industrial or technical projects with hands‑on experience in live‑project issues such as delays, claims, variations and disputes.
• Strong commercial judgment and ability to deliver pragmatic advice to diverse stakeholders.
• Familiarity with FIDIC or equivalent frameworks and APAC construction law practices.

Required skills
