Senior Solutions Architect – Retail & E‑commerce

About the role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to partner with retail and e‑commerce customers. You will guide them from strategy through production, designing cloud solutions that leverage AI, unified commerce, and modern data platforms to accelerate business transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted technical advisor, shaping cloud architectures that address unified commerce, retail media networks, supply‑chain optimization, and AI‑driven personalization.
• Lead discovery workshops and proof‑of‑concept engagements with stakeholders ranging from developers to C‑suite executives.
• Develop and present architectural roadmaps, ensuring alignment with AWS Well‑Architected best practices.
• Drive adoption of generative AI services such as Amazon Bedrock and Amazon Kiro across customer workloads.
• Collaborate with software developers, data engineers, and architects to deliver end‑to‑end solutions that modernize applications and analytics.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or similar role, preferably within retail or e‑commerce domains.
• Strong customer‑facing skills with the ability to influence senior business and technical leaders.
• Deep understanding of cloud‑native patterns, migration, and modernization strategies.
• Passion for emerging AI/ML technologies and their practical application in commerce.
