IT Engineer – Network, UC & Server Operations

About the role

Join Lam Research’s Global Information Systems team as an IT Engineer, responsible for designing, analyzing and implementing core network, unified communications and server infrastructure across Taiwan sites.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute network installations, switch replacements and equipment migrations while minimizing service disruption.
• Deploy, configure and support enterprise Unified Communications solutions such as Microsoft Teams, telephony, video conferencing and AV systems.
• Manage physical and virtual server environments, including provisioning, patching, backup, disaster recovery and performance optimization.
• Participate in infrastructure deployment projects, collaborating with cross‑functional teams and external vendors to deliver network, UC and server installations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree (or 3 years with a Master’s degree).
• Fluent in English and Mandarin, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Networking protocols and technologies: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, VPN.
• Unified Communications platforms: Microsoft Teams, Teams Rooms, VoIP, video‑conferencing and AV systems.
• Microsoft 365 administration and Windows Server environments, including virtualization platforms.
• IT Service Management tools such as ServiceNow and infrastructure monitoring solutions.
