Finance Manager (Controllership Focus)

About the role

Binance is seeking a high‑performing Finance Manager with a strong controllership focus. You will own core accounting and reporting while driving finance transformation through AI, automation, and data‑centric solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage financial and management reporting, including cash flow, tax, GST, budgeting and statutory reporting.
• Prepare and review annual reports, statutory accounts and management reports.
• Perform and review revenue, balance‑sheet and intercompany reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and corporate‑governance requirements.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents and external advisors.
• Identify and deliver opportunities to automate, simplify and transform finance processes.
• Leverage AI, GenAI, automation, data analytics and technology to improve accounting efficiency, accuracy and scalability.
• Partner with Finance Systems, Data, Engineering and business teams to implement technology‑enabled finance solutions.
• Lead or support process‑improvement and finance‑transformation initiatives.
• Translate complex accounting requirements into practical, scalable solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy/Finance, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, consulting or finance transformation.
• Strong technical accounting, analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Experience in finance transformation, automation or consulting is highly preferred.
• Strong interest in AI, GenAI, automation, data and emerging finance technologies.
• Advanced MS Excel skills; experience with ERP, BI or workflow‑automation tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder‑management and project‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.
• Highly detail‑oriented, curious and willing to challenge the status‑quo.
