Finance Manager – APJ Service Finance

About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is looking for a Finance Manager to join the MSD APJ FP&A team. The role supports the Materials & Structural Analysis Division’s service business across the Asia‑Pacific region, providing financial planning, performance tracking, and consolidation for revenue, bookings, and margin.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Quarterly Business Review (QBR), STRAP, and Monthly Business Review (MBR) processes for APJ MSD Service Finance.
• Own regional consolidation of revenue, bookings, gross margin, operating expenses, and other key metrics across multiple APJ countries.
• Coordinate country‑level forecast submissions, review assumptions, and ensure timely, accurate regional reporting.
• Consolidate risks and opportunities into a comprehensive APJ view, assessing financial impact and mitigation actions.
• Deliver monthly, quarterly, and ad‑hoc financial reporting highlighting performance drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner with service leadership, finance, commercial, operations, and service teams to support business decisions and performance improvement.

Required profile

• Strong background in finance, FP&A, or related financial analysis roles.
• Demonstrated ability to manage financial planning cycles and regional consolidations.
• Passion for data analytics and a desire to thrive in a fast‑paced, innovative environment.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with senior leaders and cross‑functional partners.
