Finance Director

About the role

The Finance Director will lead the Finance and General Administration function, providing strategic financial guidance to both local and headquarters management. This senior position is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, risk management, and effective budget control across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present financial reports for local and corporate leadership.
• Support commercial teams with financial analysis and input.
• Own internal financial submissions and manage the annual budget planning cycle.
• Provide direction to General Administration and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Advise senior management on profit maximisation, resource prioritisation, and negotiation with distributors.
• Monitor and evaluate trade promotion programmes to ensure they stay within approved budgets and deliver expected ROI.
• Identify and communicate financial risks related to trade activities and supply‑chain inventory, recommending mitigation actions.
• Summarise complex financial situations clearly for senior decision‑makers.

Required profile

• Degree‑level qualification in Finance or Accounting (essential).
• Minimum 15 years of senior‑level finance/accounting experience.
• Proven experience leading a team of finance professionals.
• Professional recognition such as CPA, CA, or a Master’s in Finance/Accounting.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• At least 5 years of experience in the FMCG or nutrition industry.
