Director of Human Resources – Taiwan

About the role

As the Director of Human Resources for Taiwan, you will lead the full spectrum of HR activities, partnering closely with the Country Management Team to align people strategies, resources, and processes with business priorities. You will drive the implementation of DKSH’s global HR strategy while adapting policies, frameworks, and tools to meet local regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee local HR operating targets, budgets and resource allocation.
• Provide strategic business partnering advice to senior management on all HR services.
• Implement and align global and country HR initiatives and policies.
• Lead talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies for critical roles.
• Develop workforce planning, change management, and talent readiness programs.
• Collaborate with Group HR on compensation, benefits, payroll, and salary benchmarking.
• Support M&A due diligence, restructuring, and HR integration activities.
• Manage employee and industrial relations, ensuring compliance with local legislation.
• Monitor HR metrics and provide data‑driven insights for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven track record in developing and executing HR strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Strong experience partnering with senior leadership in a multinational environment.
• Deep knowledge of Taiwanese labour laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Ability to lead change initiatives and drive organizational effectiveness.
