Data Center Operation Manager

About the role

Join AWS Infrastructure Services, the team that designs, delivers and operates Amazon's global cloud infrastructure. As a Data Center Operation Manager you will lead a diverse group of technicians and engineers to ensure the reliability, security and efficiency of our data‑center environments.

Key responsibilities

• Hire, develop, build and manage a team of Data Center Technicians.
• Lead the team in maintaining and troubleshooting systems, hardware and network devices.
• Oversee ticket queue management, 24/7 shift scheduling and hardware logistics.
• Drive process improvements, technology innovation and automation.
• Monitor and meet operational KPIs and metrics.
• Manage outages by severity and act as the call leader.
• Continuously improve customer experience and service quality.

Required profile

• 5+ years of people‑management experience.
• Experience in at least one infrastructure domain (networking, storage, server, Windows/Linux OS).
• Deep knowledge of change, problem and incident management.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
• Understanding of financial budgeting, Capex and Opex concepts.
