Medical Enabler

About the role

Roche is seeking a Medical Enabler to act as the medical content expert across one or more therapeutic areas. The role places patients and science at the centre of all activities, building strategic partnerships with external experts and internal teams to identify unmet medical needs and drive better outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture strategic relationships with therapeutic‑area experts, healthcare influencers and external partners.
• Translate medical insights into actionable recommendations for stakeholders at national and global levels.
• Contribute to strategic planning, considering patient needs, local market nuances, regulatory and access requirements.
• Optimize clinical development throughout the product lifecycle and generate medical evidence to support decision‑making.
• Initiate and manage innovative projects such as compassionate‑use programs, local access mechanisms or digital health solutions.
• Share knowledge transparently within the network to improve effectiveness and impact.
• Coach and mentor peers in a self‑managed team environment.

Required profile

• Purpose‑driven professional with solid experience in medical affairs.
• Strong understanding of therapeutic areas, clinical development and health‑care systems.
• Ability to think enterprise‑wide, cross‑border and act as a strategic partner.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
