Legal Specialist - Privacy

About the role

Coupang is expanding its presence in Taiwan and is looking for a Legal Specialist focused on privacy. The role supports privacy-related work within the company's operations in Taiwan.

Key responsibilities

• Support contract and documentation work
• Support privacy research and assessment activities
• Coordinate operations and incidents
• Act as administrative and cross-functional liaison

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above in Law, Legal Studies or a related discipline
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in data privacy, personal data protection or privacy-related legal and compliance matters
• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills, working across functions and levels
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and confidentiality

Preferred qualifications

• Understanding of data protection and privacy regulations, with experience in privacy assessments, legal research or compliance reviews
• Experience supporting privacy-related contracts, legal documentation and operational processes
