Tank Cleaner

About the role

We are looking for a Tank Cleaner to join the Operations team at Stolt Tank Containers. The role involves cleaning, testing, and maintaining bulk‑liquid tank containers at our depots, ensuring safety and compliance with customer and OHSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Clean dirty tanks daily, handling chemical wastes and first‑rinse water according to safety procedures.
• Perform periodic pressure‑valve tests and overhaul, ensuring all tank accessories (seals, gaskets, gauges) are correctly fitted.
• Inspect and verify functional condition of tank features such as thermometers, rupture discs, and remote‑control lines.
• Record parts changed, manage inventory draws, and ensure tanks are leak‑free and meet road‑law requirements.
• Carry out minor tank repairs (cladding patches, frame repairs) and report completion to the operations coordinator.
• Remove hazardous labels and ensure tank exteriors are clean and compliant with STC and road regulations.
• Assist supervisors with depot tasks and support overall depot operations as needed.
