Java Backend Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Java Backend Developer to join our development team. The role focuses on building and maintaining server‑side applications, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement backend components using Java or comparable object‑oriented languages.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to testing and deployment.
• Write and maintain database scripts, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Collaborate with front‑end developers, QA engineers, and product owners to deliver high‑quality features.
• Analyse technical problems, propose solutions, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong programming background in Java or similar OOP languages.
• Solid understanding of database concepts and experience with DB scripting.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Good communication, collaboration, and coordination skills.
• Sense of ownership, responsibility, and ability to work independently while supporting teammates.

Required skills

• SQL or other database scripting languages.
