Senior Construction Specialist – Project Management

About the role

Coupang is expanding its logistics footprint in Taiwan and seeks a senior professional to lead construction projects that support rapid delivery services. The role combines strategic budgeting, vendor coordination, and hands‑on technical oversight to ensure facilities are delivered on time and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Detailed coordination of multiple material flow and installation schedules of interdependent vendors.
• Manage overall project budget, approve purchase orders and invoices.
• Develop comprehensive budgets during project conception.
• Plan, direct, supervise and control execution of business, technical, fiscal and administrative functions of the program.
• Act as company representative with vendors and suppliers during execution.
• Mobilize company resources and create project teams to deliver quality work.
• Monitor and report progress, milestones, cost and schedule impacts.
• Oversee overall project schedule to ensure successful Go‑Live.
• Provide hands‑on support for material handling equipment such as pallet racking, conveyors and forklifts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, HVAC, MEP, Fire Safety, IT Network, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience leading cross‑functional teams and managing large project budgets.
• Solid background in project management and implementation, delivering workable solutions.
• Experience in distribution environments and knowledge of material handling equipment.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, changing environment.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and MS Project.
• CAD software – AutoCAD, SolidWorks.
• Project management certifications – PMP, Prince2.
• Understanding of pallet racking, conveyor and forklift systems.
