Facilities Engineer – Facility Systems & Projects

About the role

Micron Technology is seeking a Facilities Engineer to ensure the reliable operation of its manufacturing and office environments. The role involves maintaining HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, overseeing construction and renovation projects, and driving continuous improvement of facility performance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
• Plan, schedule and manage construction, renovation and preventive‑maintenance projects, keeping them on time and within budget.
• Develop, implement and monitor safety procedures and compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of building systems.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to define facility requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
• Manage vendor relationships to secure quality services and cost‑effective contracts.
• Utilize project‑management tools to track progress and report on upgrades.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in facility management or a comparable role.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
