Director, People Experience (PX) - Taiwan

About the role

Pfizer is looking for a Director, People Experience (PX) for Taiwan, based in Taipei. The role sits in the Taiwan Country Manager's Leadership Team and owns the people and culture agenda that supports Taiwan's commercial performance and growth. It reports to Regional PX and is part of the Asia PX leadership team, and works with the PX Centre of Excellence and global and regional PX on programmes covering the colleague lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a full member of the Taiwan Leadership Team, bringing workforce, capability and organizational design insight into commercial and business planning
• Develop and execute people plans with measurable KPIs, and coach colleagues on performance
• Lead transformation of ways of working with change management, and lead adoption of AI-enabled, agentic ways of working in Taiwan
• Align with global and regional PX stakeholders and use HQ and regional assets for the benefit of the local market
• Work with Global Shared Services to deliver operational HR support for colleagues and managers, and ensure a synchronized end-to-end People Experience
• Proactively shape the workforce: identify redeployment, reskilling and critical-role pipeline needs as the brand portfolio changes
• Own a continuous, data-driven employee experience loop (engagement pulse, sentiment, coaching signals, retention risk) and drive targeted interventions
• Contribute to the growth of PX talent across the regional network, coaching and mentoring peers and above-market resources

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher highly regarded
• Employee relations experience essential; Taiwan experience preferred
• Proven track record in stakeholder engagement and management
• Experience in change management with measurable outcomes
• Comfortable working with people analytics to inform business decisions
• Able to operate through influence rather than formal authority, negotiating across the Country Manager, COEs, regional PX and external bodies
• Commercial/P&L fluency, connecting workforce decisions to revenue drivers
• Familiarity with AI-enabled ways of working and comfort in a lean, matrixed structure
